Come and join the Barkhamsted Republican Town Committee on October 19th at 6PM. Republican district and state candidates will be speaking at our Community Center on 109 West River Road.

Buffet style food made from our fine members and supporters will be served. Drinks are available. Donation fee: $20.

The Riverton Fair
Dates: October 9th – 11th
If you have not attended our annual fair and would like to see some tractor pulls, ride a ferris wheel or eat some traditional fair food, this is an event to visit. Food trucks with everything from apple fritters to lobster rolls, and smoked turkey legs to fresh off the grill egg sandwiches or burgers from our local fire department should tempt your appetite.
Local artists also sell their wares from paintings to arts and crafts. There is also a barn that exhibits a variety of farm birds and animals. In the mood to compete? Try the pie eating contest or the women’s skillet throwing match.
The Barkhamsted Republican Town Committee has a booth on site. Please visit us for literature, conversation and to meet some candidates.
